Women’s Journey

Women’s Journey meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm  and is hosted by women of the congregation on a rotating schedule.  This refreshing look at Bible/book study and the incorporation of today’s topics is lively and fun.  It’s also a great way to get caught up on current events, develop new relationships and make new friends.  The next meeting will be on September 20 at the home of Jan Nelson.  Organized by Sara Wilcox.

On-The-Go

This “empty-nester” social group for singles and couples alike meets at various locations around town on a monthly basis for friendly fellowship.  Meeting times are determined by the group. Convened by Donna Smith.

Faith & Families Small Group

This group meets monthly (usually the 4^th Friday of the month) and participates in a themed pot luck dinner and Bible study beginning around 6:30 pm. September is an “unusual” month and the group will meet on Saturday, September 15 at the Fischer’s home.  A children's lesson is discussed prior to a more adult version of the same topic.  During the adult Bible study, the children participate in free play with minimal supervision.  This group attempts to follow the sermon schedule when possible.  Convened by Bret and Ann Fischer.

LifeLiners (Grief and Loss Support Group)

All have experienced grief and loss, some more recently than others. This group meets every other Thursday evening beginning September 6, 6:30 pm at the church, to share experiences and develop ties to help ease the feelings of loneliness and to take the word “one” out of alone. The group helps participants search for hope and personal strength in spite of the pain caused by the loss of a loved one, the loss of a marriage or other significant relationship, or the loss of health and/or employment.  Convened by Paula Diehl.

 Intentional Christianity - Exploring a Vision of Christian Life

This group will meet weekly on Monday evenings, beginning September 10 at 7:00 pm at the church to explore contemporary ideas of Christianity, and try to find common ground with the truths expressed in Bible stories. We will seek to strengthen our relationship with God and develop our spiritual lives through the use of prayer, discussion, short guided meditations, Bible study, book study and supporting other members in this quest.  Sunday Night Live!

This group meets on the 3rd Sunday evening each month beginning September 17 at 6:30 pm at the church. Interesting and challenging studies in a conversational and fun environment makes Sunday Night Live a great place to receive encouragement, grow in faith, and make great friends.  Convened by Michael Nutter.
