Getting together in smaller groups for friendship, support, spiritual growth, study, prayer, and reflection is important at South Summit! Check out the current wonderful opportunities to make new friends and grow in faith!
Adult Sunday School
The Adult Sunday School class meets weekly on Sundays at 9:00 am. Please join this group to engage in interesting and challenging studies in a conversational and fun environment making Adult Sunday School a favorite gathering place for many at South Summit.
Monday Morning Café
Every Monday morning at 8:30 am, everyone is invited to meet for Bible Study and coffee at the church. What a good way to start the week! Convened by Mark Bartlett.
Women's Book Club
The next gathering of the Women's Book Club will be on Tuesday, March 6 at the home of Chellie Maxon, beginning at 7:00 pm. Please pick up a copy of What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty and come prepared to have great conversation! All are welcome! Organized by Chellie Maxon and Linda Ashton.
Iron Men
The men's group enjoys getting together for food, fun and fellowship! The next event will be an overnighter from February 17-18! All men are welcome! Organized by Keith Hageman.
Faith In Families Small Group
This group meets monthly (usually the 4th Friday of the month) and participates in a themed pot luck dinner and Bible study beginning around 6:30 pm. A children's lesson is discussed prior to a more adult version of the same topic. During the adult Bible study, the children participate in free play with minimal supervision. This group attempts to follow the sermon schedule when possible. The next gathering will be held on Friday, February 17. Convened by Ed and Kristy Bishop.
